Soft­PI Com­pa­ny is­su­ed new ver­si­on of Soft­PI Flow Col­lector 1.6. Soft­PI Flow Col­lector 1.6 is col­lector of in­forma­ti­on abo­ut net­work flows with using NetF­low, IP­FIX, RFlow. A free edi­ti­on is ava­ilab­le too: Soft­PI Flow Col­lector Li­te 1.6.

The new ver­si­on of Flow Col­lector ex­cept for small cos­me­tic chan­ges, in the first pla­ce, dif­fers from exis­ting ver­si­on (1.5) of the pre­sen­ce of the Re­ports  app­let. This app­let is a part of the Flow Col­lector ad­mi­nist­ra­ti­on prog­ram. Using this app­let, the user can ge­nera­te re­ports on da­ta in the sto­rage.

The Re­ports app­let is ava­ilb­le on­ly in ca­se when:

• Mic­ro­soft SQL Ser­ver 2008 R2 is used as the sto­rage,
• fi­elds of da­taba­se cor­responds to fi­elds of NetF­low ver­si­on 5.

Re­ports inc­lu­ded in Soft­PI Flow Col­lector was cre­ated in RDL for­mat. This me­ans that user can one­self to edit the­irs and to cre­ate own re­ports using SQL Ser­ver Bu­siness In­telli­gen­ce De­velop­ment Stu­dio, which is com­po­nent of Mic­ro­soft SQL Ser­ver 2008 R2, or  Mic­ro­soft SQL Ser­ver Re­por­ting Ser­vi­ces Re­port Bu­il­der 3.0.

All users of pre­vi­ous ver­si­ons of Flow Col­lector can use a new ver­si­on free.

We al­so re­mindl that un­til 08/31/2011, in ac­cordan­ce with the spe­ci­al of­fer Soft­PI Flow Col­lector 1.6 can be purc­ha­sed for on­ly 50% of its usu­al pri­ce.
